Cambridge HackLab Academy Acquired BinaryBots to Provide a Sustainable and Integrated STEAM Education to the Next Generation

Cambridge, 6th Jan 2022. Cambridge HackLab Academy has successfully completed the acquisition of BinaryBots and plan to provide an innovative, sustainable, and integrated STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) education to the next generation.

Cambridge HackLab Academy (CHA) is a STEAM product, workshop and service development company and aims to become a leading provider in the market. It has strong track record at 3D printing, coding and IoT education. Partners of CHA include local Cambridge education providers, Cambridge Biomaker Space, Cambridge Technology Museum, Incubyte Limited, the Crafty Robot, the global STEAM kits manufacturer and more.

BinaryBots is a UK brand for educational robotic kit and smart toy. BinaryBots products were sold to schools and the retail market, over 35,000 units were shipped globally within 18 months. BinaryBots was the finalist at the BETT awards Innovator of the year in 2017, the winner of Tillywig Toy Award in 2018 and the winner at Artificial Intelligence category of Golden Panda global competition in 2019.
